The purpose of todays Battery C is to serve as a living history and educational organization. As such, the Battery strives for historical authenticity and as a result has been asked to conduct demonstrations for the National Park Service on the battlefields of Gettysburg and Manassas, VA, has participated in films and documentaries and also participates in parades and many living history reenactments of Civil War engagements.
The Battery is seeking new members and will be recruiting during Swamp Yankee Days.
